Björn Obrie

Björn Obrie has over 20 years of relevant treasury experience. He started his career in banking, gaining deep expertise in financial markets and derivative risk management strategies before transitioning into the corporate sector. 
 
In the corporate sector he has worked for several multinational companies in various treasury roles. Over the last 10 years he played a key role in establishing and managing a group treasury environment for a listed company. Besides ongoing operational treasury elements he led the development of treasury processes, selected and integrated different treasury management systems, strengthened risk control mechanisms and advised and executed on FX and interest rate risk management structures around corporate finance activities. 
 
Björn holds a master degree in Business Economics (Tilburg University) and is a CFA® Charterholder.
